Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church of Orange City Thursday, August 16, for Andrew Vander Stoep, who passed away at the Orange City hospital Monday at the age of 77. Rev. Harlan Roelofs, officiated. Interment was made in the Orange City cemetery.

Coming to attend the funeral of their father were, Rev. Claud Vander Stoep of Syracuse, Calif., John Vander Stoep of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Leona Livingson of Missouri Valley, and Nelvina (Mrs. Pete Haarsma) of Maurice and Mrs. Ted Draagstra. Absent were, Mrs. Ruby Mulder of Terrence, Calif., Alvin Vander Stoep of Tilamook, Ore., and Marcia (Mrs. Victor Jensen) of Independence, Mo.

Survivors besides the widow and children are three brothers, Arie Vander Stoep of Orange City, Pete Vander Stoep of Alton and Gt. Vander Stoep of Pittsburg, Ill., five sisters, Mrs. Allie Van Bruggen and Mrs. Ruby Van Pelt of Bellflower, Calif., Mrs. Mary Vander Brake of Washington state, Mrs. Neal Ellerbroek of Tillamook, Ore., and Mrs. Geo. Van Roekel of Maurice.
