Mrs. Gerrit (Gerritdina) Koerselman, Sr. of Middleburg, died at her home, Sunday afternoon, December 19th, at 5 o'clock having been ill for the past two years. Deceased was born in the Netherlands in 1858, coming to this country in 1889. She made her home at Alton for ten years afterwards moving to the farm near Middleburg, where her home was made until her death, at the age of sixty-eight years old.

Relatives left to mourn her are the husband, five daughters, Mrs. William VanBruggen, of Matlock; Mrs. H. Sneller, of Sioux Center, Mrs. Ed Oolbekink, of Newkirk; Mrs. H. Gunnink, of Leota, Minnesota and Mrs. John Doktor, of Middleburg; five sons, Henry, of Middleburg; Ben of George; Gerrit, of Middleburg; John of Matlock; and Dick of Middleburg, and one brother, J.A. Beckman, of Alton.

Funeral services were held last week Thursday at twelve o 'clock at the home and at one o'clock at the First Reformed Church, of Middleburg, Rev. Manson officiating.
