Died: 4-20-1985Peter Wesselink, 81, of Clio, Michigan, died Saturday, April 20, 1985, in Flint Michigan.
Services were on Wednesday, April 24, 1985 at 11am at the Benjamin & Whipple Funeral Home of Clio. The Rev. Arlo Gould officiated. Interment was in the West Vienna Cemetery in Clio.
Mr. Wesselink was born December 29, 1904, in Sioux Center, Iowa to Henry and Henrietta (Schutt) Wesselink.
He graduated from Orange City Academy and from hope College in Holland, Michigan.
In Clio, Mich., he owned and operated a clothing store.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ninnie, in 1965, and by two brothers, Gerrit and John, and by one sister, Grace Meredith.
He is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Schumate of Clio; by one son, Peter Byrant of Los Angeles, Calif.; by two granddaughters, Kelly and Julie Schumate of Clio.; by two brothers, Dr. Art Wesselink of Eagle Grove, Ia.; and Ed Wesselink of Pella, Ia.; and by three sisters, Pearl Bruinsma and Alice Wells of Sioux Center and Alma Lyzen of Hull, Iowa.
