Daniel wesselink, 100, Hull died Monday, Aug. 19, at Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull.

Services were Thursday, Aug. 22, at First Reformed Church in Hull, with the Rev. Verlyn Boone officiating. Burial was at Hope Cemetery in Hull, under the direction of Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Daniel Wesselink, son of Dirk and Elizabeth (Wandscheer) Wesselink, was born Oct. 11, 1901, in Sioux Center. His family moved to a farm west of Hull when he was a child. He married Dora Leusink on Feb. 11, 1926, in Hull. They farmed at Perkins, Middleburg and west of Hull. They moved in 1948 to a farm east of Hull in 1976. They became residents of Pleasant Acres Care Center in October of 1995. Mrs. Wesselink died Sept. 17, 1996, in Sioux Center. He was a member of First Reformed Church in Sioux Center, where he served on the consistory as an elder and a deacon for several years. He also belonged to the Men's Brotherhood. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons. Delmar and Karen Wesselink of Hull, and David and Beverlin Wesselink of Marathon; a son-in-law, John and Maria Schoep of Pipestone, MN.; a daughter-in-law, Marjean Wesselink of Edgerton, MN.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Wesselink; a daughter, Lucille Schoep; a son, Harlen Wesselink; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Wesselink; two brothers; and three sisters.
