Died: 2-8-1988Gertie Mol, 91, of Sioux Center died Monday, February 8, in Friesland, Wisconsin, where she had made her home with her daughter.
Services were at 10:30am Friday, February 12, at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center with Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born Gertie Proper on May 4, 1896, in Sheldon, she married Clarence Mol March 6, 1918, in Sioux Center. He died June 14, 1951.
She was a member of Dorcas Circle of First Reformed Church.
Survivors include two sons, Neal C. and Peter, both of Sioux Center; three daughters, Kathryn Medema of Berwyn, Illinois, Elberta Swaagman of Friesland and Ageline Boersma of Gresham, Oregon; two sisters, Elizabeth Dolieslager and Carrie Klein, both of Sioux Center, 26 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-great-grandchildren.
