Josie Moget, 90 a resident of Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull, died Monday, September 3, of a long illness.

Services were at 1:30pm Wednesday, September 5, at the First Reformed Church in Doon. The Rev. Norman Menning officiated. Burial was in the Hope Cemetery in Hull. Visitation was from 7:30 to 8:30pm Tuesday, September 4, at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Mrs. Moget, the former Josie Tabbert, was born Dec. 4, 1893, in the Netherlands. She came to the United States and settled in the area of Holland, Mich.

She married Marinus Moget on May 10, 1929, in Holland. The couple lives in Erie, Ill; Fairview, S.D., Monarch, Alberta, Canada, and Okaton, S.D., where Mr. Moget served as the minister of the First Reformed Church.

The couple retired to the Doon area in 1959. Mr. Moget died March 26, 1979.

Survivors include two sons, Lester of Sioux Center and Donald of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
