Mrs. Ethyl Peters was born Sept. 3, 1928 at Little Rock, Iowa the daughter of George and Mary (Veenker) Block. She lived her youth in Adrian Minn. and south of Little Rock, Iowa She attended country school and the Little Rock High School.

She married Jack Peters on May 24, 1949. They lived at Holstein Iowa for two years, then north of Little Rock until 1953, then moved to rural Adrian, Minn. She was a member of the Salem Reformed Church, Martha Rachel Circle, the Ladies Chorus, Missionary Home Board. She taught country school for 3 years and was a member of the Church Guild.

She passed away at the Osceola Comm. Hospital in Sibley on July 9, 1984, at the age of 55 years, 10 months and 7 days.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband Jack; 4 children; Marcia (Mrs. Paul Leemkuil) of Niarobe, Kenya, Africa, Merrill Peters of Adrian Minn; Vickie(Mrs Ted Jenniges) of Ellsworth Minn, Douglas Peters of Adrian Minn; 7 grandchildren, her mother Mrs. Mary Block, of Little Rock, Iowa, One brother Rev. Robert Block; four sisters; Ruth Ackerman of Lytton, Iowa, Clarice (Mrs.Marvin Rosenboom) of Little Rock Iowa, Mary Block of Columbia, South America, Patricia (Mrs. Robert Reyen) of Hollandale Minn.

She is preceded in death by her father, George, 2 brothers; George Henry(Jud),Peter Ray, an infant.
Interment: Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock Iowa
