William Wiekamp, 75, of Boyden died Tuesday, August 4, in a hospital in Sheldon after a brief illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 7, at the First Reformed Church in Boyden. The Rev. William Haak and Leroy Boender officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery at Matlock.

Wiekamp was born November 30, 1911 in Hospers. He married Allie Van Bruggen November 20, 1935, at Matlock. He was a trucker for two years and in 1941 moved to a farm near Boyden. His wife died Oct. 15, 1983.

Survivors include a son, James of Rochester Minn. 3 daughters, Gladys Kookier of Rock Rapids, Ellen Geels and Arlene Kramer of Sheldon.
4 brothers, Gerrit, Walter, Albert and Ray; 15 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
