Henry De Jager, 82, of Ogilvie, Minnesota, formerly of Rock Valley, died Thursday, April 24, in a hospital in Mora, Minnesota. Services were at 1 p.m. Monday, April 28, in the Christian Reformed Church in Ogilvie. Visitation was Tuesday at the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Tom Vanden Bosch officiated. Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m. in Valley View Cemetery. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca, Minnesota, is in charge.

De Jager was born April 24, 1904, in Maurice. He married Rena Siegersma December 8, 1926, at Pease, Minnesota. They farmed near Ireton and later near Rock Valley. In 1964 they retired and moved into Rock Valley. Mrs. De Jager died January 28, 1968. On October 23, 1968, he married Winnie Terpstra. They made their home in Ogilvie.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Bernard of Edgerton, Minnesota, Harvey of Chicago, Donald of Alvord and Loren of Hull; two daughters, Alvina Van't Hul of Rock Valley and Lois Baatz of Rock Rapids; five sisters, Rena Faber of Sioux City, Susie Smits of Lynden, Washington, Rose De Weerd and Henrietta Vande Kieft, both of Sioux Center and Johanna Vliestra of Orange City; two stepsons; two stepdaughters; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
