Hattie Ymker, 84, of Rock Valley, died Tuesday, November 27, at Hegg Memorial Hospital, Rock Valley.

Services were held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, November 30, in the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley. The Rev. A.M. Den Boer officiated. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery.

Mrs. Ymker, the former Hattie Bosch, was born March 2, 1900, in The Netherlands. She married Lambert Ymker November 16, 1926, at Sioux Center. They farmed in the Stickney, South Dakota, Corsica, South Dakota, and Fairview, South Dakota areas and Maurice and Rock Valley area. Mr. Ymker died in 1953 and she moved into Rock Valley in 1957. In June 1981, she moved to Valley Manor Nursing Home.

Survivors include three sons, John and Fred, both of Rock Valley and Elmer of Hawarden; two daughters, Mrs. Cornie (Bertha) Van De Vendel of Canton, South Dakota, and Mrs. Richard (Minnie) Wallenberg of Rock Valley; one brother, Henry of Rock Valley, one sister, Mary Bosch of Rock Valley; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
