Mr. Lambert Ymker passed away Saturday morning at the Sioux Center Community Hospital at the age of 52 years and 29 days. Mr. Ymker was born in the Netherlands and came to America with his parents at the age of five when they settled at Corsica, South Dakota. In November of 1926 he was united in marriage to Hattie Bosch at Sioux Center and after marriage they settled at Corsica where they farmed for five years. Following this they moved to Maurice for two years, Harrison, South Dakota for three years, Fairview for five years, Hudson for nine years and then moved to their present home at Rock Valley where they lived for the past two years.

Mr.Ymker is survived by his wife and the following five children: John; Bertha; Elmer, who is at present serving in the United States Army; Minnie and Alfred. One son died in infancy in 1935. He is further survived by two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Minnie, Mrs. Walter Dykshorn of Rock Valley; Jennie, Mrs. William Schelling of Doon; Emma, Mrs. John Maassen of Rock Valley; Marie, Mrs. B.D. Schelling of Armour, South Dakota; Albert of Grand Rapids; Ed and Herman both of Armour, South Dakota; and Janet, Mrs. Dick Koenen of Sioux Center.
