Angeline Pearl was the daughter of Ralph and Carrie (Ganzevoort) Vande Berg. She was raised in the Sioux Center area.

On December 19, 1934, she married Peter Earl Zwagerman at Sioux Center. They made their home in Hospers until 1949, when they moved to a farm near Hospers. In 1963, they moved to Orange City, and in 1972, they retired to Phoenix, Arizona. In 1984, they returned to Orange City. Mr. Zwagerman passed away April 6, 1990, at Sioux City. Since August of 1995, Mrs. Zwagerman has been a resident of the Bethany Manor in Story City.
She was a homemaker, who was employed part-time in food service positions. She was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Survivors include her six children, Earl and his wife, Sue, of Phoenix; Carol and her husband, Case Van Velzen, of Sioux Center; Glen of Phoenix; Larry and his wife, Lynn, of Ames; Dennis and his wife, Linda, of Phoenix; and Patricia of Ventura, California; eleven grandchildren, Gail, Peter, Carrie, Dawn, Laura, Sue Ellen, Duane, Kelly, Daniel, Mark, and Amy; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Harold and Lois Vande Berg of Sibley; and Kenneth and Elizabeth Vande Berg of Prescott, Arizona; three sisters and their husbands, Harriet and Ted Van Zandbergen of Grand Island, Nebraska; Helen and Clifford Monson of Storm Lake; and Lavonne and John Surksum of Sheldon; and two sister-in-law, Mrs. Herman (Winifred) Langstraat of Orange City; and Mrs. Clifford (Bertha) Brink of Hospers.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. James (Magdalene) Van Berkum, and a brother, Harold Cyril, in childhood.

Angeline Pearl Zwagerman, 82, of Orange City died Sunday, September 15 at Bethany Manor in Story City. Services were Wednesday at First Reformed Church in Orange City with the Rev. David Ter Beest officiating. Burial was at Hospers Cemetery.
Mrs. Zwagerman was born on May 14, 1914, in Hospers, the daughter of Ralph and Carrie (Ganzevoort) Vande Berg. She was raised in the Sioux Center area.
