Florence Bouma, 91, of Rock Valley, died Friday in Hegg Memorial Hospital, Rock Valley.

Florence Ytsma was born October 6, 1892, in Friesland, Netherlands. She came to the United States when she was 21. She married Hilke Bouma March 31, 1916, in Inwood. They farmed in the Inwood and Rock Valley areas before they moved to California. Her husband died February 1, 1963. She had been living in a nursing home since 1973.

Survivors include a son, Pete, Grandville, Mich.; two daughters; Mrs. Gerrit (Anna) Vande Keift, Inwood and Mrs. Tina Bolt, Holland Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Reink Ytsma, Rock Valley.

Services were held at 1:30pm Tuesday in the New Life Assembly of God Church, Inwood. Burial was in the Richland Cemetery, Inwood. Arrangements were under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home.
