Ireton - Mrs. Neva Jean Vander Hamm Brunk, 32, died unexpectedly at her home southeast of Sheldon, Saturday night. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Vander Ploeg funeral home at Sheldon and at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Brunk was born Jan. 24, 1924, at Ireton, IA. She was married Nov. 22, 1944, to Dale Brunk at Sheldon. She was a member of the Women's Aid Society of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors are the widower, three daughters at home, Sharon Kay, Debra Jean and Della Lee, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Vander Hamm of Sheldon, and four sisters. She was a niece of Mrs. John Vlotho, Mrs. Jennie McNally, Mrs. Arthur Cornish and John Nanninga of Hawarden.
