Simon Douwstra, who many years ago operated the Middleburg General store, died Sunday evening at his home in Pella. Mr. & Mrs. Tim Rens of Sioux Center and Mrs. Nellie Lammers of Orange City left Wednesday morning to attend the funeral. Douwstra and Lammers were partners in the general dry goods and grocery business in Middleburg.
