Mr. Charlie Wynstra passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital at Sheldon on Friday, November 25 after an illness of many months due to cancer. He had reached the age of 83 years.

Born March 3, 1866, in the Netherlands, Mr. Wynstra came to America in 1887. He farmed in this community for many years living near Sioux Center and Middleburg, and left for Sheldon in the year of 1937, going to the Holland Home where he has lived since that time. He had never married and is survived by a brother Frank living in Florida, a sister Mrs. Brolsma of Paterson, New Jersey’ and two brothers in the Netherlands.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Sheldon Holland Home with Rev. Jean Vis, pastor of the Sheldon Reformed Church officiating. Burial took place in the East Lawn Cemetery at Sheldon.
