Funeral servies were held today (Thursday) at 1:30 from the Christian Reformed Church of Hospers for Dick Zwagerman, 71. Services were held from the house at 1 o'clock. Rev. C.R. Veenstra officiated.

Mr. Zwagerman was born August 3, 1891 at Holland, Minn. He moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Zwagerman to a farm near Boyden in 1896 and to a farm near Hospers 1905. He was married to Jennie Roetman of Hospers on February 6, 1913. To this union were born three children, Bertha (Mrs. Cornie Granstra) of Sheldon, Katie (Mrs. Henry Cleveringa) of Jasper, Minn., and Rosella (Mrs. Harold Roos) of Hospers. They lived on farms in the Sheldon and Hospers communities until moving to Hospers in 1944.

In addition to the widow and children, he is survived by four sisters; Gertrude (Mrs. Ben Vander Griend), twin sisters Rose (Mrs. William Hofmeyer), Ann (Mrs. Jake H. Vander Griend) and Bertha (Mrs. Hilbert Vogel). There are 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Hospers cemetery with arrangements by Vander Ploegs.
