Mrs. Ella Boeve, 85, of Hull died Thursday in a Sioux City Hospital. Services were at 1:30 P.M. Saturday in the First Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Gerald Vander Velde officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Boeve, the former Ella Bos was born July 14, 1899, in Sioux County. She married Henry Boeve December 5, 1917, at Hull. They farmed north of Hull, and in 1955 moved to town. He died May 10, 1982, at Rock Valley. She became a resident of Valley Manor in Rock Valley January 16,1985.

Mrs. Boeve was a member of the First Reformed Church and the Martha Circle of the church.

Survivors include eight sons, Henry C. and Gary, both of Hull, Albert of Luverne, Minnesota; Donald of Hills, Minnesota, Arthur of Steen, Minnesota, Everett of Woodstock, Minnesota, James of Beaver Creek, Minnesota, and Ervin of Tyler, Minnesota; five daughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Gertrude) Leusink of Clinton, Wisconsin, Mrs. Arnold (Dorene) Hulshof of Rock Valley, Mrs. William (Lois) Oostra of Winneconne, Wisconsin, Mrs. John (Eleanor) Warntjes of Hull, and Tunis (Helen) Overman of Rock Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Martha Koele of Hull; 53 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
