Gertrude C. Tysver, 86, Sioux City, formerly of Matlock, died Friday Dec. 3, at Casa de Paz.

She was cremated and there were no services. Burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home in Sioux City.

Gertrude Tysver, daughter of Carl and Reka Meyerhoff, was born Dec. 20, 1917, in Matlock. She grew up in Matlock and Sheldon. She had lived in Sioux City for the last 40 years.

She was a a homemaker and enjoyed raising her three children.

Survivors include a daughter, Rena and Larry Odens of Gretna, NE; a son, Louis Tysver of Storm Lake; and a brother, Hank Meyerhoff.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Renolla; a daughter-in-law, Connie Tysver.
