Bert Leusink, one of the pioneers of this section of Sioux County, died at his home northeast of Hull last Friday morning, and was buried in the Middleburg Cemetery Monday afternoon.

Mr. Leusink was fifty years old and was married twenty eight years ago to Miss Jennie Mouw. To this union eight children were born, two dying in infancy. Besides his wife and six children he is survived by five brothers and three sisters, and six grandchildren.

The Index joins in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
