Funeral services were held at the Free Grace Reformed Church, Middleburg, at 1:30pm Friday, January 3, for Harlan Paul Leusink 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Leusink of northeast of Sioux Center, who passed away Tuesday evening, December 31, at St. Joseph hospital in Sioux City.

Services were conducted by the Rev. William Colenbrander and interment was in the Middleburg cemetery with Vander Ploeg's funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors besides his parents include a sister, Julene Kay; and his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Pleun De Zeeuw of Hull. One brother Henry died in infancy on June 7, 1941.
