Hull Sioux County Index December 31, 1942

Mr. Chris Vander Laan, a Hull resident for many years, but recently a resident of Sheldon passed away at the Community Hospital in Sheldon on Tuesday morning, December 29th.

The body was brought to Hull on Tuesday, and funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 1:15 o'clock at the Clearbout & Weir Undertaking Parlour and at 1:30 from the First Reformed Church Rev. G. H. Douwstra will have charge of the services.

Interment will be in Hope Cemetery.

The index joins many friends of this esteemed man in extending sincere sympathy to the sorrowing children.
