Services for Andrew H. Boone, 88, Sheldon were held Friday, December 31, at 2 P.M. in the First Reformed Church in Sheldon. The Rev. Paul Tanis officiated with burial in East Lawn Cemetery, Sheldon. Vander Ploeg Funeral Home, Sheldon, was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Boone passed away December 29 at the Nursing Wing of Community Memorial Hospital in Sheldon.

Andrew H. Boone was born February 7, 1894, in Orange City. He was married to Jeannette Zuiderweg on January 22, 1920 in Sheldon. She passed away July 25, 1975. Mr. Boone was a World War I veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Malcolm (Dorthina) Den Beste, Lakewood, California; two sons, Bernard and Andrew J., both of Sheldon; three brothers, William, Sioux Center, Henry, Orange City and Gerrit, Britain, South Dakota; two sisters, Mrs. Peter (Artie) Vander Tuig, Orange City and Mrs. Henry (Jenny) Heemstra, Sioux Center; eight grandchildren and 10 grandchildren.
