Mrs. Katherine Tripp, 57, of Allegan, Mich a former Ireton resident, died at St. Mary's hospital at that place Friday, February 11, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held the following Tuesday.

Survivors are the widower, six sons, John of Battle Creek, Mich., William of Ireton, Edward and Francis of Grand Rapids, Mich, and Carl and Richard of Allegan, Mich; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Spaulding of Grand Rapids, Mich., Mrs. Donna Berkenpas of Jackson, Minn., and Mrs. Senn Ricklefs of Ireton; three brothers and 23 grandchildren. One daughter, Cora preceded her in death.

Those from here who attended the funeral were her son William and Daughter, Mrs. Fred Ricklefs, Mrs. Donna Berkenpas of Jackson, Minn and her brother, William Haverhals of Rock Rapids, also went to Allegan for the funeral.
