Services were held Monday at a funeral home in Pella for Mrs. Lawrence Mills, 37, chairman of the art department at Central College and whose parents are Rev. and Mrs. Raymond Lubbers of Orange City.

Mrs. Mills died last Friday at University Hospital in Iowa City.

A graduate of Central College, Mrs. Mills did graduate study at the University of Wisconsin and the University of Iowa. She was women’s physical education director at Central before her marriage.

In addition to her parents here, she is survived by her husband; three children, Marc, Lisa, and Tad; two sisters, Mrs. Arvin De Cook of Des Moines and Mrs. George Bowden of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
