Harold H. Lubben, 55, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota formerly of Hawarden and Akron area, died Sunday, September 21 in a hospital at Sioux Falls of an apparent heart attack.

Services were at 1 P. M. Wednesday in the Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. The Rev. Melbourne Helling officiated. Burial was in the Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden at 3:30 P. M.

Mr. Lubben was born May 11, 1925 on a farm near Hawarden. He attended Sioux County schools and farmed in the Hawarden and Akron vicinity until eight years ago when he moved to Sioux Falls.

He married Doris Johnson March 22, 1950 in Hawarden. He had been employed by the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Survivors include the widow; three daughters, JoAnn Quigley of Sioux Falls, Glenda Noggle of Bloomington, Minnesota and Sandra Lubben at home; three sisters, Mrs. Wesley Kuehn and Ester Lubben, both of Le Mars; and Mrs. Cy Jerman of Denver, Colorado.
