A May 28, 1942 article in the Sioux County Index gives a roster of Civil War soldiers including John Still; however, while it lists him as a "wagoner", it does not give until information. His tombstone in Hope Cemetery has a Masonic symbol but nothing indicating military service. If anyone has information about his military service, please contact the Sioux County GenWeb coordinator.
