From the Alton Democrat of March 4, 1905 Hudson news
As was feared last week Mrs. Denbow's little son David passed away on Friday. He was a bright pretty little five year old boy. He had been sick but had commenced to improve but took cold with fatal results. Mrs. Denbow has the sincere sympathy of the entire community. She has had a hard time of it with all five of her children sick at the same time. She was tired out and the loss of little David was a severe blow.
