BETTY LISTON FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Daryl (Betty J.) Liston, 42, of rural Ireton were held Wednesday afternoon in St. Paul's Lutheran church at Ireton with Rev. Arthur Anacker officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vernon Eilts was organist at the services, and Mrs. Allen Bertram was soloist. Casket bearers were William Gant, James Skogman, Louis Goodmanson, Ed Van Donge, Floyd Green, and Alvin Feenstra.

Mrs. Liston died Saturday, February 22, at the Hawarden hospital following a long illness.

She was born Betty Jane Hove on March 25, 1926, near Hudson. She moved with her family to Hawarden where she attended school. She married Daryl Liston on August 2, 1947, in Hawarden. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church at Ireton.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Greg of Worthington, Minnesota, and Jerry, at home; five brothers, Thomas of Breckenridge, Min-nesota, Oris of Sioux Falls, and James, Harlan, and Conrad, all of Sioux City, and one sister, Mrs. Robert Hitzeman of Worthington.
