FORMER IRETON RESIDENT DIES AT MILLBRAE

Earl Campbell, 55, a former Ireton resident, died Saturday at his home in Millbrae, Calif.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 11, at the Millbrae Presbyterian Church, with burial in a Millbrae cemetery.

Mr. Campbell was born Dec. 17, 1913 at Ireton. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Campbell, now deceased, who at that, time managed the local Ireton bank.

The family moved from here to LeMars where they managed a gasoline station, later moving to Omaha, Neb. and from there to Millbrae, a suburb of San Francisco.

Before leaving Ireton, Mr. Campbell married the former Arlene Johnson, whom he had gone with here in high school. They moved from here to Hamburg, la., later to Omaha, and then to Millbrae.

For the past 19 years Mr. Campbell had been employed by the Aeronautical Radio, Inc. on the West Coast.

Survivors include his widow; one brother, Glen Campbell of New York.
