Henry C. Dirks

Henry C. Dirks, 76, longtime resident of the Ireton community died Tuesday of last week, at the Panska Nursing home in Hawarden after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the Satterlee Funeral home in Ireton last Thursday afternoon, Rev. Paul Friedrich of St. Paul Lutheran church officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Mr. Dirks was born February 3,1880, at New Douglas, Ill. He lived many years with his parents who farmed near Ireton. He never married.

Survivors include five brothers, Richard of Le Mars, Fred of Hawarden, Herman of Brunsville, William of Merrill and George, living in South Dakota.
