This community was shocked Thursday by the sad news that Mrs. Bert Kley had died suddenly at eleven o'clock after but eight days of wedded life. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wiekamp residing east of town. On Wednesday of last week she was led to the marriage altar by Bert Kley of Hospers.

The happy young couple went to housekeeping on the Hoeven homestead west of town at once. Their prospects were apparently bright and the sad blow so soon to fall was entirely unexpected. An acute form of kidney trouble is supposed to be the cause. The death is a peculiarly sad one and those left to grieve have many sympathizers.
