Mrs. John Miniets
Mrs. John Miniets, 63, or Akron, died at a Sioux City hospital Tuesday of a brief illness.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church at Akron with the Rev. Durwood Clauson officiating. Burial was in St John's Lutheran Cemetery at Craig. A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.
Mrs. Miniets, the former Lois Boisen, was born June 27, 1915 at Ireton. She was married Sept. 21, 1947 at Ireton. The couple farmed near Akron.
Survivors include the widower; her mother, Mrs. Hannah Boisen of Hawarden; brothers, Harvey of Ireton, Glenn of Ruthton, Minn. and Orin of Hawarden; sister, Mrs. Roy (Helen) Abbey, Mrs. Leland (Neva) Kircher and Mrs. Ray (Bernice) Eilts, all of Hawarden and Mrs. Ernest (Ruth) Popken of LeMars.
