Clipping from an unknown newspaper (possibly the Sioux Falls Argus Leader), marked 1969 (this is consistent with the date of Mr. Hennrich's death in the Social Security Death Index):

CARL HENNRICH, 82, Gregory, S.D. — Died April 16, Gregory hospital. Services April 19, United Church of Christ, Gregory, the Rev. Arthur Orth. Burial IOOF Cemetery, Kotrba Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 5, 1886, Sioux County, Iowa. Homesteaded Dakota Territory. Moved to Gregory 1907. Married Ruth Drey, July 20, 1908, Fort Pierre, S.D. Member Gregory Commercial Club. Organizer Gregory County Rural Electric Cooperative, member board of directors 22 years. Resigned 1967.

Survivors: Widow; daughter, Mrs. Ernie (Hazel) Koester of Burbank, Calif.; son, Walter Hennrich of Gregory; sister, Mrs. Herman Renken of Huntington Park, Calif.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
