Friends have received word of the recent death of sister Margaret Mary, the former Gertrude McKeever, daughter of the 1ate Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McKeever.

She was born at Sheldon, Ia. In 1883, as a child she moved to Ireton when the bank of Ireton was established. Her father was cashier at the bank.
She graduated from the Ireton school in the class of 1899, and then taught in the country school one mile south of the Ireton cemetery.

In 1907 she entered the Community of Sisters of St. Francis at Clinton, Ia. where she spent the rest of her active life teaching science and psychology in both high school and college departments of that Institution.

She is survived by three sisters: Mother Mary John of Clinton, Ia. (known here as Rose McKeever); Mae McKeever of Helena, Mont, and Mrs. Clara Bennett of Everett, Wash.; two brothers, Robert E. and Eugene McKeever of Forayth, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Francis McKeever.
