Funeral services for Mr. William Van Oort, 73 years old were held Monday, July 12, at the First Reformed Church in Ireton with the Rev. Harold Lenters officiating. Burial was in Orange City Cemetery.

Born 1898 at Orange City, Married Ethel Muilenburg, January 29, 1920.

Survivors: two sons, Howard of Ireton and Harris of Omaha, Nebraska; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Tracash, Centerville, Iowa and Mrs. John (Carol) Reinders, Ireton and nine grandchildren.
