Travis Dean Van Oort, 1-day-old son of Kenneth and Nattalee Van Oort of Rock Valley died Monday in a hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Private services were held on Wednesday in the Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley. The Rev. Robert Timmer officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home.

Travis was born December 11, 1983, in Rock Valley.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Nathan James and one sister, Rebecca Joy, both at home; paternal grandparents, Pete and Wilmina Van Oort of Sanborn and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mary De Boer of Hull.
