From the Thursday, July 10, 1958 Hawarden Independent:

Ireton, IA -- Word was received here of the death of Roger Bahr, 45, of Estherville. He was a son of the late Mrs. Bertha Rogers Bahr and a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rogers. He was reared in Ireton and made his home here until World War 2 when he went into the service. He is survived by his wife and five children, his father and one sister. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Robert.

Poster's note: From his age, Roger Bahr was probably George Roger Bahr, son of Bertha (Rogers) and Harry Bahr.
