Minnie Tiedemann, 76, Woodstock, died Sunday in Pipestone County Medical Center.

Minnie was born January 9, 1910, in Sioux County, Iowa. She was married August Tiedemann September 23, 1931, in Boyden, Iowa. They farmed near Boyden and Sheldon, Iowa, until 1947, when they moved to a farm north of Woodstock in 1974, they retired and moved into Woodstock. Her husband died September 9, 1981.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and was active in the Ladies Aide.

Survivors include three sons; Vernon, Kinney, Minnesota; Verdean, Pipestone. Minnesota; and Wallace, Virginia, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers; Ernest, George, Iowa; and William, Quimby, Iowa; and four sisters, Meta Meyer, Rock Rapids, Iowa, Emma Woelber, Boyden, Katie Dickman, Holstein, Iowa, and Martha Zwart, George.

Services were held Wednesday A. M. in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Woodstock. Graveside services will begin at 2 P. M. Wednesday in St. John’s Cemetery, Boyden.
