Mrs. Moeller of Minnesota Dies

Graveside services were held Saturday at Pleasant Hill cemetery at Ireton for Mrs. Martin Moeller.

Mrs. Moeller, 90, a former Ireton resident, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Holtdorf, at Holland, Minnesota after a long illness.

Mrs. Moeller was born September 16, 1873, and spent most of her life in the Ireton vicinity. She is survived by her daughter, one granddaughter and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at St. James Lutheran church at Holland. Rev. H. Kloehm officiated. Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Paul Friedrich of St. Paul's Lutheran church of Ireton.

Poster's note: According to the 1925 Iowa census, Mrs. Moeller was born Lizzie Byer, the daughter of Louisa E. (Pettra) and John Byer. Lizzie's first husband was Julius Weber, an Eagle Township farmer, who died August 14, 1914. They were the parents of a daughter, Luella (later Mrs. George Holtdorf). According to the 1940 census, Mrs. Moeller's granddaughter was Nita Holtdorf. Mrs. Moeller's gravestone at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton reads: Lizzie Weber, September 16, 1873, March 4, 1964.
