FUNERAL SERVICES HELD HERE FOR MRS. GEO. RICKLEFS

Funeral services were held Monday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton, la. for Mrs. George Rlcklefs, 73, who died Thursday at a Hawarden nursing home.

The Rev. O.F. Plttack officiated. Mrs. Walter Vander Hamm was organist. The St. John's Quartet sang.

Casket bearers were Homer Muth, Marlo Muth, Lennis Muth, Lenneth Muth, Larry Rlcklefs and Richard Warner.

Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Barnard-Dow Funeral Home.

Flora (Rosemore) Rlcklefs was born at Alcester, S.D. May 18, 1893 and grew up in that community.

May 2, 1912 she married George Rlcklefs and they lived in Alcester, later moving to Ireton where they lived until 1944. Then they moved to Bettendorf, Ia. Two weeks ago she was brought to the nursing home where she became critically ill.

Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Hazel) Muth of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Mrs. Peter (Irene) Runia of Sibley, la.; three sons, Manard of Bettendorf, Lawrence of Denver, Colo., and Lyle of Burlington, Ia.; 19 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Poster's note: A copy of the obituary from the July 30, 1966 Sioux City Journal notes the following additional surviving relatives:

a brother, William Rosemore of Jamestown, N.D.; four stepbrothers, Adolf Rosemore of Sioux City, Iowa, Fred R. Rosemore of Floodwood, Minn., Chris Claussen of Roseburg, Oregon, Herman Claussen of Grants Pass, Oregon; and a step-sister, Mrs. Madge Slocum of Phoenix, Arizona.

According to the 1925 Iowa Census, Flora (sometimes spelled Flore) was the daughter of Herman Rosemore and M___ Raths (first name illegible but possibly Mary or Marie).
