From the Sioux City Journal of unknown date (about May 13, 1966. Clipping is marked with a death date of May 12, 1966 which is confirmed by a mention of Mrs. McDougall's death in the May 19, 1966 Akron Register-Tribune):

MRS. JUDSON MCDOUGALL

LEMARS, Iowa — Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Judson McDougall, 65, will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at St. John's American Lutheran Church. The Rev. L. L. Belk and the Rev. Robert Floy will officiate. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDougall died unexpectedly Thursday at a LeMars hospital.

The former Bertha DeRaad was born May 15, 1900, at Maurice, Iowa, and had lived in the LeMars area most of her life. She married Judson McDougall in December 1920 at Ireton, Iowa.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Kilstrom of Akron, Iowa; three sons, Marlin of Winona, Minn., Judson Jr. of Lincoln, Neb., and Donald of Papillion, Neb.; two brothers, Leon of Ireton and Arthur of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Koops of Denver and Mrs. Weston Karr of LeMars; and nine grandchildren.

Poster's note: Based on her siblings' names and the 1910 census, she was the daughter of Minnie and Albert DeRaad. Per brother Leon DeRaad's listing in the 1925 Iowa census and information on Albert & Minnie's family in Ireton, A Proud Heritage 1882-1982, their mother's maiden name was Minnie VanMeveren.
