George Van Den Top, 73, of Rock Valley, died Tuesday in a hospital at Rock Valley of brief illness.

Services were held Friday in the Porter Funeral Home. The Rev. L. Kieboom officiated. Burial in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Mr. Van Den Tp was born June 28, 1907, in the Netherlands. He came to the United States at age three with his parents.

He married Regena DeJoode June 28, 1934, at Alvord. He had been a resident in Rock Valley for 20 years.

Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Adrianna) Rozeboom of Doon, Mrs. Everett (Alice) Ahlers of Alcester, S.D. and Mrs. George (Joan) Lems of North Bend, Wash; two brothers, John and Tom both of Rock Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Hoefakker of Inwood and Mrs. Gerrit Vande Stouwe of Rock Valley. 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
