Kathleen A. Van Muyden, 65, of Hull, died Friday, September 4, at the Rock Valley Hospital.

Services were held Monday at American Reformed Church in Hull with Rev. Henry Vermeer and the Rev. Gerald VandeVelde officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull.

Born Kathleen A. VandeBerg on July 19, 1922, at Hull. She married Lester Van Muyden on October 19, 1945, at Hull. She operated the DuRite Beauty Shop in Hull.

She was a member of American Reformed Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Hull Business and Professional Club.

Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Jacquelyn Westra of Pomeroy; a sister, Agnes Koerselman of Sheldon; and three grandchildren.
