RALPH VANDER BERG

Ralph Vander Berg, 79,of Garwin, formerly of Orange City, died Friday, February 19 at his residence in Garwin.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church in Garwin. Burial was at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home of Orange City.

Ralph J. Vander Berg was born Oct. 26, 1902, at Orange City, the son of Dick Vander Berg and Ruth Aalfs Vander Berg. He graduated from Orange City High School and was employed for many years in the Sioux County Engineer's office. He moved to Garwin several years ago.

Mr. Vander Berg was a member of the United Methodist Church of Garwin and former member of Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City.

Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Frances De Gorrye of Des Moines.
