Kenneth Van Ommeren, 25, of Boyden was found dead Sunday, August 24, 1986, near Newkirk.

Funeral services are this Wednesday, August 27, at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home at Boyden. Pastor Robert Lueck will officiate. Burial will be at the Boyden Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Pallbearers at the services will be Brian Kroeze, Bevin Walinga, Mike Dekievers, Mark Van Ommeren, Les Hansen and Wes Van Ommeren.
Kenneth Van Ommeren, the son of Marjorie and Donald Van Ommeren, was born May 27, 1962 at Orange City. He was a 1980 graduate of Boyden-Hull High School.

Survivors include his parents; three sisters, Lynn of Boyden, Barbara of Orange City and Susan at home; two brothers, Marvin at Ames and Peter, at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kroeze of Orange City and parental grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Van Ommeren of Maurice.
