Soren Sorlie, 68, Of Hudson Dies

Soren Sorlie, 68, of Hudson, died last Thursday at the Hawarden hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran church at Hudson with Rev. K. E. Christopherson officiating. Burial was at Hudson.

Mr. Sorlie had farmed north of Hudson many years. He retired last spring and with his wife moved to Hudson.

Besides the widow, he is survived by eight children, Oliver and Leo Sorlie and Mrs. Harold Heier of Hudson, Mrs. Bruce Stewart of Sioux Falls, Mrs. Stanley Randall of Lennox, S. D., and Arnum and Sanford Sorlie and Mrs. Leonard Martin of Canton. One son, Gordon, who was a prisoner of war in World War II, preceded him in death.
