Lenora Davelaar, 61, of Sioux Center died Tuesday, September 25, 1990, at the Sioux Center Hospital.

Services were held Friday at 10:30 A. M. at the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. John Postman officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Chapel in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Davelaar, the former Lenora Caswell was born July 21, 1929 in Hull. She married Cornie Davelaar October 5, 1948 in Hull.

Mrs. Davelaar was a member of First Christian Reformed Church where she was an active member of Ruth Circle. She also served as a pastoral worker.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald “Jerry” of Paramount, California, James and Brian, both of Sioux Center; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Wilma) Vogel of Hull and Mrs. Harvey (Nancy) De Jager of Maurice; two brothers, Wallace and George, both of Inwood; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Margery) Visser of Orange City and Mrs. John (Irene) Groeneweg of Hull, and 19 grandchildren
