Mrs. Mary Richmond Lucas

Mrs. Mary L. Richmond Lucas, 86, Yankton, died Tuesday in a Yankton hospital.

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Schenk Funeral Home at Yankton. The Rev. Robert Vessey, pastor of the First United Methodist Church at Yankton, officiated. Burial was in Yankton Cemetery.

Mrs. Lucas, the former Mary L. Van Sickle, was born Sept. 12, 1890, at Morilton, Ark.

Mrs. Lucas was a former resident of Hawarden, Iowa and a longtime resident of Yankton. She was a member of Fountain Rebekah Lodge 12 at Yankton.

Mrs. Lucas was preceded in death by her three husbands, George A. Richmond who died in 1928; Theodore S. DeVol who died in 1956 and Firman Lucas who died in 1970.

Survivors include three sons, Paul A. Richmond of Independence, Ore., George F. '"Fred" Richmond of Yankton and Donald D. Richmond of Battle Creek, Mich.; 11 grandchildren ; 27 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
