Ronald Paul Dow

Ronald Paul Dow, 45, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Hawarden, Iowa died Thursday, June 17,1999 in Denver. Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Associated Church in Hawarden with Rev. Laird Keever officiating.

Burial will be in the Alma Cemetery in Alma, Nebraska at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 25. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday, with the family present from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden.

Ronald Paul Dow was born July 2, 1953 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the ,son of Gerald and Rachael (Rodine) Dow. He graduated from the West Sioux High School in Hawarden in 1971. Ronald attended the University of South Dakota before transferring to the College of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa at Iowa City where he graduated in 1977. He was employed in Champaign, Illinois, before moving to Denver where he purchased a pharmacy in 1980.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Kenneth and his wife, Janet of Muskegon, Michigan; one sister, Mary Lynn and her husband, Jim Grewe of Omaha, Nebraska; two nephews, Brian and Kevin Dow; and three nieces, Lauren Dow, Heather and Hannah Grewe.

Ronald was precede in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandparents.
